The MAX410/MAX412/MAX414 Operational Amplifiers

The MAX410/MAX412/MAX414 single/dual/quad opamps set a new standard for noise performance in high-speed, low-voltage systems. Input voltage-noise density is guaranteed to be less than 2.4nV/ at 1kHz. A unique design not only combines low noise with ±5V operation, but also consumes 2.5mA supply current per amplifier. Low-voltage operation is guaranteed with an output voltage swing of 7.3VP-P into 2k  from ±5V supplies. The MAX410/MAX412/MAX414 also operate from supply voltages between ±2.4V and ±5V for greater supply flexibility. Read more

The Touch Screen Controller – ADS7846 device

The ADS7846 is a next-generation version to the industry standard ADS7843 4-wire touch screen controller. The ADS7846 is 100% pin-compatible with the existing ADS7843, and drops into the same socket. This allows for easy upgrade of current applications to the new version. Only software changes are required to take advantage of the added features of direct battery measurement, temperature measurement, and touch-pressure measurement. The ADS7846 also has an on-chip 2.5V reference that can be used for the auxiliary input, battery monitor, and temperature measurement modes. The reference can also be powered down when not used to conserve power. The internal reference operates down to 2.7V supply voltage while monitoring the battery voltage from 0V to 6V. Read more

The Microchip Flash Microcontrollers of the PIC12F510/16F506 series

The PIC12F510/16F506 devices from Microchip Technology are low-cost, high-performance, 8-bit, fully static, Flash-based CMOS microcontrollers. They employ a RISC architecture with only 33 single-word/single-cycle instructions. All instructions are single cycle except for program branches, which take two cycles. The PIC12F510/16F506 devices deliver performance in an order of magnitude higher than their competitors in the same price category. The 12-bit wide instructions are highly symmetrical, resulting in a typical 2:1 code compression over other 8-bit microcontrollers in its class. The easy-to-use and easy-to-remember instruction set reduces development time significantly. Read more
